We found a gorgeous healing spot to hitch our tent in the
Barclay Sound West Coast Vancouver Island BC Canada

Completely isolated from people we walked off a logging road down through a forest of coniferous trees to a swamp like cove where long grass ran along the muddy beach.  On one high level a fruit tree sat blossoming spring.  We hitched the tent beside the tree embracing the serenity.  As the pink/white blossoms blew down onto our tent we saw eagles, bears, sea lions, ducks and many birds singing to the rising and setting sun.  The biggest surprise was on the 3rd night at midnight the tide rose to a high point and quietly trailed under our tent.  We woke in a puddle forming beside our sleeping bags, it was like a leaky water bed as we crept out of the tent.  After that we headed for the trees to sleep.

In one quiet moment these little poems came to me.

A world to live in

An earth altar,
A cleansing spring,
Luscious gardens
for all to feed.

The Wavy Lady

Dance with me,
Feel the breeze,
Smell the earth underneath,
Step with tide pulling me,
Feel the speed and be free.

Love and Worship

I would see everyone as the child they were.
In wonder and awe at new things to explore.
The love to share made life so rare.
I worship those times
that bring fresh air.

To give sweet love brings the peace
