A Gift for the Children
A bed time meditation

  I often do chakra meditations with my children before sleep time. I will take them on imaginative journeys into their own personal gardens, where they get to meet all sorts of interesting characters and go adventuring into many different diverse places. The imagination is a delightful playground. The stories always sound better when told on the spur of the moment, and never sound quiet the same when I write them down. So as you read through this journey take your time, get into the space and describe your surroundings clearly, remember to leave time to breathe and relax as you move from point to point. Enjoy.

  In bed under the covers, lying relaxed, close your eyes.
  Take three deep slow breathes, as you breathe in be aware of your stomach rising as you full your lungs with air, slowly breathe out any restlessness as you relax into vision time.

  When you are happily relaxed and breathing deeply; walk yourself into a beautiful garden, feel the fresh clear air on your cheek, notice the green shining grass waving in the wind, see the sparkles of sunlight reflecting off a river of water flowing freely by. Notice a family of tall friendly trees, if your hungry try some of the delicious fruit from the trees, enjoy its juicy, fresh, tasty substance. Thank the tree for its pleasure the tree will be grateful. Breathe awhile in the garden.
  After enjoying the delights of your peaceful garden, go down to the river bank. Look for 13 stones. The stones will talk to you, they will call out to you; you will just notice them to pick up. Carry them back to the grassy green meadow where you will lay 12 of the stones round in a circle.
  Find the stone that appears light and creative in energy; place this stone to the East where the Sun rises. This stone is full of inspiration, creative energy and new beginnings.
  Find the stone that's powerful with energy, it may be red and fiery in feel, this stone place where the sun is at its fullest in the sky, to the south. This stone is your strength stone, your power stone that fulfills you with life, and love.
  There will be another stone to find for the west where the sun goes down, this is the moon stone, the dream stone, this stone helps you in dream time, opening the doors to possibilities and change, to peace and harmony with rhythm.
  The next stone to find is the stone to place to the North, I call this the Goddess stone, the north is where the sun doesn't travel, it is a dark stone, a spirit stone that teaches us about the dark, it teaches understanding. This is a wisdom stone it teaches us what we don't understand. So all becomes clear in the dark.
  Place all the other rocks in between the elemental rocks forming a sacred circle. There will be one rock left, a beautiful clear crystal.
  Sitting comfortably on the earth in the center of your circle of stones, place this crystal in your lap. Feel its clear crystalline energy, clear and pure. Raise the rock to your third eye, between your brows, clear any obstacles in your mind, feel the crystalline energy clearing your mind, healing your thoughts.
  Move the crystal to your throat and feel the energy clear your voice so you can easily express your self.
  Next move the crystal down to your heart, and feel its clear, pure crystalline energy clearing, doing its magick in your heart, unblocking muck and opening your heart to unconditional love.
  Move the crystal down to below your ribcage your center of your self, feel yourself balance, so you can walk balanced, not knocking things over or being clumsy, but balanced and centered, breathe, light and laughter.
  Move the crystal down to your navel, feel the water energy in your navel, like the ocean let the crystal show you how to ride the different currents of motion, always moving and changing with the flows of motion, high wild waves, deep waves and ripples, feel the energies move you and be flexible.
  Move the crystal down to between your legs, feel the current of pure crystal clear energy heal your birth zone, your pleasure zone, your sacred zone for magick. Feel yourself be grounded at home with your life and pleasures.
  Lastly extend your arms to the top of your head, let the crystal open your crown charka up, feel the pull of the stars and space above you, feel the crystalline energy cleansing the divine energies as they come down through you, down your body, out your legs, and hands, down through all your charkas, cleansing and healing, clearing with pure crystalline energy, Feel the energy from the stars move right through your body, wave after wave of clear pure healing energy, feel the energy go down into the earth…
  Feel the energy emanating down to the roots of the trees, rippling into the under ground streams the roots drink from. Watch as the crystalline energy flows into the rivers, where the animals drink, and see the animals drink in the crystalline energy. See the trees releasing the crystalline energy out of their leaves into the atmosphere where the birds flying feel the energy, feel the air around clearing and becoming crystalline as the crystal does it magick. As the trees happily suck up the pure clear crystalline energy into their leaves, and the animals eat the plants see every living thing touched by the energy. Every animal, insect, plant and rock feels light and clearer uplifted and more spirited.
See the humans, who are in tune with the energy currents, notice them see a change in their energy and smile their pleasure of touch, see the people who don't notice the difference of energies they still feel a little happier and nicer from being touched even if they don't know why they feel a little uplifted.
  See the crystalline energy all around the globe of the earth, like one living molecule crystal clear and lighter in spirit. Now move the crystal back to your lap, see your self in the crystal, see the earth in the crystal, feel the earth as the bellybutton of the solar system, the sun is the center, see yourself as space with the sun at your center and the earth at your belly button, one with all living things.
  Now come back down to earth and see this wonderful miraculous crystal. This is your special crystal, carry it in yourself. Maybe you would like to carry it in your navel, or heart charka, sometimes you may like to have it in your womb, yoni or minds eye. It is yours to use to help heal and balance your self with. Carry it within in you so it doesn't get dirty outside of you. This sacred crystal is my gift to you.
