Crafts: pressing flowers for cards, letters, frames, pictures... make a nature chest. Gathering all sorts of items. different roots, sticks, rocks, seeds, feathers, pinecones, shells... make a batik make sun wheels play with clay and dry in the sun make rock paintings and rock sculptures. create a fading picture. make a cut out, a silhouette and place on coloured paper. Keep it in the sun so the coloured paper fades but where the silhouette is it doesn't fade. Interesting affect. you can use leaves or flowers etc. make boats with quarter peeled orange skin. make sails with tooth picks and paper and blow to race. make stick creatures with pinecones glue what ever you can find... squash play dough into a big round lid and find things from the forest or garden to stick in it. make a little garden on a lid. for little kids. make a bird bath find shells and make shell
creatures. or a mobile or necklace, a special shell bowl, to put your best
shells in. a soft fabric bowl with glued shells round the outer rim.
