We are what we eat
4c rolled oats 2c Oat bran 1c Nuts (Optional) 1c sunflower seeds 1/2 Lecithin granules 1c Flax seeds Sometimes I soak dried fruit, or slice bananas, with soy milk or Orange juice.
3 cups chilled Juice (tropical or orange) 1 banana 2 tsp Spirulina powder Whiz all ingredients in blender and serve chilled. Refreshing and energizing on a warm summer's day.
Scramble tofu, season as desire, I like soy-sauce and nutritional yeast. Place on toast, spread with tahini or peanut butter. Sometimes I top with alfalfa sprouts or avocado.
3-4c strawberries 1/4 water 1/4 sweetener ( donšt use any) 2-3 teaspoons arrowroot powder Place the strawberries in a large pot with the water; cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Add sweetener; sift the arrowroot in, stirring constantly. Cook for approximately 20 minutes, until very soft. Add additional sweetening to taste. Substitute peaches, apples, or grapes for the strawberries.
1-1/4c whole wheat four 1/3c oil 1c bran 1/3 to 1/2 c sorghum sweetener 1 teaspoon baking soda 1c soymilk 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla Preheat oven to 400F. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix all liquid ingredients in a large bowl; add the dry ingredients and mix well. Oil one muffin tin; sprinkle each cup with flour. spoon batter into each cup until half full. Bake for 25min. Add raisins or blueberries, grated apple or grated carrots to the batter before baking as addition.
