Vegetarians make
better lovers
From 'THE COOKBOOK for PEOPLE WHO LOVE ANIMALS.' There is no force powerful enough to stem the tide of an idea whose time has come. We can no longer, in good conscience or in good health, continue to slaughter innocent animals for food, clothing, experimentation, sport, or for any reason. The vegan concept is not a fad that will pass with time. It is the birth of compassion, a concern for others, that is the single most important step in the next evolution of humankind. Consider the lion and the giraffe, the weasel and the elephant, the wolf and the deer. It is not the size or strength of the animal that determines its nature, violent or gentle; it is that animal's food source. We humans are animals. It is our food source that determines our nature, violent or gentle. We must change to a gentle food source if we are to evolve; and we must evolve if we are to survive.

From Tree of Life's Being Vegan article... I want to sincerely thank the skeptics for their courage to speak out. I pray that people will let go of ideologies and start to look at what is the most effective diet. After more than 35 years of research, looking for the best diet for spiritual life and general well being, I conclude that the most appropriate diet for survival, well being, and spiritual life in a highly toxic world is a personalized live food organic vegan diet, that is low-glycemic, highly mineralized, and well hydrated. This conclusion is based on thousands upon thousands who have lived successfully on a live food diet. It is also the diet that creates the least amount of pain and suffering to the animal kingdom, the least amount of chronic disease, and least ecological damage.

A list of other meals we eat
Quinoa We have gone through periods were we have had very little
money. Living wholesome and organically is very expensive. I always
try to feed my family every day with veges, fruit and grains or beans/nuts/seeds.
When we were low in veges we drunk herbal teas, I grow our own alfalfa and
sprouts through the winter and tomatoes and herbs what ever I could in buckets
and pots through the summer, on our patio and window sills. I buy only
what is in season and affordable. So our meals differ through the seasons. :Devi |
