I find caves fascinating. It's cool to see the formation of the different types of rocks.
The cavers motto is: "Take nothing but pictures, kill nothing but time, leave no trace."

cool site because you can see 4 types of caves; sea caves, Lava tube caves,
solution caves and erosional caves.
The National Speleological Society is
another great site for cavers and this is a link to
Canadian Cavers.
This is a really informative site
all about caves and how important it is to not pollute because it destroys these
underground caves and the animals and life that live in these habitats.

cheddar cave is
Britain's oldest complete skeleton, Cheddar Man, was buried in Gough's Cave

in 1997 established that Cheddar Man still has descendants living in Cheddar!
Wookey hole cave in England fascinating cave because at halloween they set it up spooky with a witch, and ghosts etc. sounds like fun. I'd like to go there one day. The website has an interesting history people and hyena's lived in the cave for thousands of years.
The French cave the Lascaux. they had to close this cave because the carbon dioxide from over 1000 visitors a day breathing it out was ruining the cave paintings.
Caves in Belize were used as ceremonial sites and have Mayan artifacts such as pottery.
