Re: Violation of your terms of service agreement
Dear Sir or Madam
This is to report a violation of your terms of service agreement with your
users in the form of copyright infringement.
Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) is a not-for-profit California corporation.
We are the exclusive owner of copyrights of Aleister Crowley (British author,
1875-1947), and as O.T.O. Assistant Secretary, Internet Affairs, I am
authorized to act in this matter.
William Breeze is the Chief Executive Officer of the O.T.O., and if you need
confirmation from him directly, please let me know immediately. A copy
of this letter has been sent to him.
This is to give formal written notice to your organization that one of your
users "RA-HOOR-KHIT NETWORK" <http://www.rahoorkhuit.net/>
have used your services to abuse copyrights.
The following works by Aleister Crowley is infringed by them:

-Liber Siloam
I can affirm that the use of the material infringed is not authorized by Ordo
Templi Orientis, and that it is not the public domain in the United States, or
elsewhere under the Bern Convention. This material does not have a legitimate
posting anywhere on the web.
We have allready once notified ”RA-HOOR-KHUIT NETWORK” directly on 16.
of June 1999, as can be witnessed by their own pages
At our advice they removed the infringing files. However, one Mr.
David Bersson of a organisation called Society Ordo Templi Orientis have given
them permission
to publish the documentz, and ”RAHOORKHUIT.NET” have decided to publish
them again, as can be witnessed by their pages
As we have allready written ”RAHOORKHUIT.NET”, and they have shown
unwillingness to cooperate to our satisfaction, we bring the matter to your
attention.
I advise you that the Society Ordo Templi Orientis, the organisation Mr. David
Bersson Is head of, lost against the Ordo Templi Orientis in United States
District Court Northern District of California July 10th 1985, and then
their appeal of this Judgement September 10th 1985, any claim to the
copyrights of Aleister Crowley.
You may consult the University of Texas (Austin) and University of Reading (England) joint copyright database WATCH at http://www.lib.utexas.edu/Libs/HRC/WATCH/
if you wish to verify William Breeze's authorization to act for the estate of
the author Aleister Crowley.
We think the above information fulfills your conditions re: violation of your user agreements.
We will take all necessary steps to end this infringement. We are represented in New York City by Cowan Liebowitz Latman PC, who may be known to your legal department as specialists in intellectual property law.
Please note that our organization is a supporter of the free exchange of
ideas and the net generally, but insist that we be consulted and our permission obtained before material we control is put up on the internet. We appreciate your valuable service to the net-community and regret that we have to write you about this unpleasant matter.
We will of course pursue other legal options if this matter is not resolved
promptly.
